| Pallacken Abdul Wahid was born on 10 June 1946 in
Thalassery, Kerala State, India. He received his
B.Sc and M.Sc degrees (both in agriculture) from
Kerala University. His specialization is
Agricultural Chemistry with Agricultural Botany
(Cytogenetics and Plant Breeding) as second
subject. He did Ph.D (Utkal University, Orissa,
India) in the area of pesticide pollution of
agricultural ecosystems. |
His
research career spanned over 34 years in the
Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR),
Kerala Agricultural University (KAU), and Kerala
State Council for Science, Technology and
Environment (KSCSTE) as scientist, academician
and research
administrator. | |

| Research in Islamic Science |
Since
1986 he has been actively involved in research
in the religio-science area. His pioneering
research to bring together science and the Quran
led to the characterization of the universe as a
computer system programmed, designed and created
by Allah. This concept was published in his
first book The Divine Expert System
in 1998 by the Centre for Studies on Science, Muslim Association for the Advancement of Science, Aligarh. His work in this area led to the following publications in Islamic Science. . |
